Nailventurous Flying Blue Jay Polish

Today I am reviewing a polish from one of my new favorite lines Nailventurous!  Nailventurous Flying Blue Jay is even more beautiful in person than any picture I have seen.  It is very unique as are all of her polishes.  I am super impressed with the quality and uniqueness.  Flying Blue Jay is a medium cobalt blue with tiny light blue matte glitters, and varying sizes of white glitter.  It is amazing!!!  I am so glad I found out about this line before her etsy shop opened.  The shop sold out in minutes!!!!  I was lucky enough to grab a few bottles of the polishes on my wishlist!  Check it out....

Whimsical ideas-Kee Wee polish

I recently discovered a line called Whimsical ideas by Pam.  After I received my first order I ran back and placed a second!  I was very impressed with the product on a whole.  The design, color, service, and formula were superb!  Today I am wearing Kee Wee.  Kee Wee is a nice lime- like green with big silver hexes, medium sliver hexes, and a bunch of turquoise blue glitter.  It is gorgeous!!  I loved that the color was rich and did not need a base under it. Check her out on her FB page

Pretty and Polished Tart polish

I have been loving the indie line Pretty and Polished.  The creator Chels makes original polishes and provides amazing customer service.  A great combo!  Today I am wearing Tart.  I feel it is almost the purple version of the popular jawbreaker.  It has a purple base with a bit of pink shimmer, and lots of different colors and sizes of glitter.  The application was a breeze!  Below was 3 coats, no base!

Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder 02 Blondes

Among the products I purchased yesterday was the Guerlain Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder 02 Blondes.  It is stunning.  It provides just the right amount of color to look natural. It also is not shimmery as some bronzers are. It has a very slight glow instead. I cant stand the fake, orange look most bronzers gives, but Guerlain is known to have the best bronzers in the industry!  This also comes in a few other colors.  They have another one that might have suited me when I already have a bit of color, but for now, my pale face can only handle this. Check it out!

Guerlain Terracotta Sun In The City Golden Glimmer Powder

I just got back from a quick trip to pick up a few products from the new Guerlain line!!  I was so excited to have these in hand!!!  My camera is acting up and for now I was unable to capture good swatches, so for now it is just a couple pics and description.  While Sun In The City is gorgeous, I am not sure how often I will use it.  I had second thoughts on the purchase, but needed to try it myself.  I get pretty shiny and do not need any help with that.  This product is heavy on the shine, so I guess we will see.  It can be used as a highliter or all over glow product.  It is very gold and has a bit of metallic to it.  The design is out of this world, as are most of guerlains highliters.  I did not realize it had a bumpy design too!!  This product is huge!!! Not quite as big as the mosaic from last year, but close.

Le Metier de Beaute Aurora Lip Kaleidoscope

They finally arrived!!!!  The Northern Lights collection from Le Metier is here!  I have been waiting for months for this collection to be released.  I have to say it is pretty late for a spring collection to be released.  Most lines are gearing up for summer.  All that said, I am beyond impressed with the beauty of the new eye and lip kits. Here is just a sneak peak at the Aurora kaleidoscope. Swatches to come later when the lighting is better!  Pictures do NOT do it justice!  I can not say enough good things about this!  I have a few of the lip kits and this is hands down the best one.  It actually is my favorite lip product I own!

Glitter Gal 3D Dark Purple Holo

I am taking a break from the glitter for a day, and using one of my new Glitter Gal holos.  I LOVE holos and had never tried Glitter gal until now.  I have heard so many great things about them, and they are all true!   The dark purple holo has a nice holo effect and applies beautifully.  Holos seem to chip pretty quickly so I will see how this one holds up.  I love that the holo effect can be seen in any light.  Some holo colors can only be seen in the sun.  It was cloudy yesterday when I applied this, so I cant wait to see it in the sun today!

Chanel Ombres Matelassees eyeshadow palette

I just got sent this pic from My SA about this upcoming Chanel Palette.  It looks beautiful and she said it was gorgeous in person!  It is not for sale yet, but will be soon.   Have you heard
 anything about It?

NostalgicLacquer Duckie polish

Today I am reviewing Nostalgiclacquer's Duckie from her Bizarre teenage love triangle collection.  All 3 from the collection are beautiful pastel like colors with beautiful sparkles.  I loved how shiny these were and they felt very smooth.  I received so many compliments when I wore them!  The application was nice.  It was very sheer so I needed a base on all of them. Duckie is a combination of green, teal, and gold glitters in a sheer pastel green base. For Duckie I used  an OPI with a similar base and it was a really nice match.  I recommend checking her line out!  She will be releasing new colors soon too!!

PrettyAndPolished The Amazing Technicolor TopCoat polish

Sorry I have been away for a while!!!  I have a new project in the works and it is taking up all of my free time.  I will share more details about this in the near future!  I have recently become a fan of the indie polish brand Prettyandpolished.  Today I am showing the amazing technicolor topcoat.  It is a really cool concept.  It is all the glitters that spilled during her polish making. She scrapes her mat after she is done making them, and collects the extra spills till she has enough to make a polish out of them.  The result is really cool and no bottle or batch is the same!  I had to work and layer to get the bigger pieces out, but love the results.  This is 3 layers over black.
