NostalgicLacquer Duckie polish

Today I am reviewing Nostalgiclacquer's Duckie from her Bizarre teenage love triangle collection.  All 3 from the collection are beautiful pastel like colors with beautiful sparkles.  I loved how shiny these were and they felt very smooth.  I received so many compliments when I wore them!  The application was nice.  It was very sheer so I needed a base on all of them. Duckie is a combination of green, teal, and gold glitters in a sheer pastel green base. For Duckie I used  an OPI with a similar base and it was a really nice match.  I recommend checking her line out!  She will be releasing new colors soon too!!

PrettyAndPolished The Amazing Technicolor TopCoat polish

Sorry I have been away for a while!!!  I have a new project in the works and it is taking up all of my free time.  I will share more details about this in the near future!  I have recently become a fan of the indie polish brand Prettyandpolished.  Today I am showing the amazing technicolor topcoat.  It is a really cool concept.  It is all the glitters that spilled during her polish making. She scrapes her mat after she is done making them, and collects the extra spills till she has enough to make a polish out of them.  The result is really cool and no bottle or batch is the same!  I had to work and layer to get the bigger pieces out, but love the results.  This is 3 layers over black.

Lynnderella LavenDear Polish

I hope you are not getting sick of all my polish posts!  It is difficult on long work days to accomplish more than quick nail posts, but I will work on that!  Anyway, I just had to show off another Lynnderella.  I am in LOVE with her polish!!!!  MUST HAVE MORE! Here are a couple pics of lavendear.  Here is the description- a blend of lavender multi-sized hexagons and squares with a touch of holographic pink in a sheer pink-violet base with a hint of iridescent blue shimmer.
It is gorgeous!  I used the perfect base for it!  Essie "to buy or not to buy".  It seemed to match the base of LavenDear and they really complemented each other.  Too buy or not to buy is a light violet pink with iridescent blue and pink shimmer. I also added a touch of Nicole by OPI "Step to the beat of my heart". On to the pics!

The thumb pic above is only 1 coat of LavenDear, which is what I should have done with all of them.  I got carried away with it!

Lynnderella chocolatta love!

Just a quick few pics of Lynnderella's new polish, Chocolatta Love.  Lynnderella's polish is truly one of a kind!  They are extremely hard to get.  I wish I ordered more!!!!  I could not mange to get the best shot of this, but here you go!  Its a sheer, brown base, with tons of different sized glitters.  Here is the description Lynnderella uses- a blend of brown multi-sized hexagons and squares, black microglitter, as well as scattered yellow, red, purple, turquoise, lime and emerald "candies" in a sheer chocolate base. Like brownies with M+Ms baked in. Its so glittery and sparkly...Love!

Zoya Skylar

Just a quick post before work.  I recently got a few colors from Zoyas new collection.  Last night I did Skylar. The formula was really nice and easy to work with.  It kinda reminded me of Essies smooth sailing, but when I compared the bottles, they were pretty different.  This is a gorgeous cloudy blue with hints of purple with silver and gold? shimmer.  OPIs new Holland collection looks to have a similar color, but I have yet to receive it to compare.  On to the swatch!

Dior electric blue!

I recently purchased 2 of the new polishes from Diors Anselm collection.  I already have silver lake, way too many blacks, and the purple did not seem different enough to justify.  So, I bought pink graffiti, and electric blue.  The title of electric blue says it all.  This has to be 1 of my favs.  I do not have another color like it.  The formula is superb and the color is gorgeous.  VIBRANT!

Quickie post

I swatched YSL's new green.  I initially thought it was very similar to Juleps leah, but I was so wrong.  It is actually closer to Dior's waterlily!  Here are some bad pics.  The YSL is darker than Dior and more grass green like.  It also has very fine green shimmer when you look closely. The YSL is such a cool color, but I must resist.  PLEASE excuse my poorly taken care of nails.  This was a quick swatch.  Waterlily on pointer finger, YSL middle, leah on ring finger.  These do look a bit different IRL , but close.

I recently joined Julep's maven program.  It was $5 to start so I could not resist.  The thought of little presents containing nail polish and other manicure related items arriving to my door once a month, sounded exciting!  My first box contained Hayden(peachish), Megan(blueish metallic),  Leah(green with shimmer) and a topcoat.  I have on Leah and it is such a cool color.  It is pretty loud, but seems to be in trend for spring.  It reminded me of YSL's new color, but I only did a tiny swatch of that.  The formula of Leah was very nice.  So far I am impressed! Also pictured is an item I am highly obsessed with.  It is the celina cuff by Hayden Harnett(my fav company). I collect these and the Ramones.  They look amazing together. http://haydenharnett.com/index.cgi?action=detail&style=CUFFRSE&back=http%3A%2F%2Fhaydenharnett.com%2Findex.cgi%3Faction%3Dcuffs%26page1%3DALL

Here is a bad pic of leah with zoya flakie Chloe.  It is a cool combo as Chloe is pink with pink and green flakies!
