Dior Rosy Glow- Healthy Glow Awakening Blush

I think I found a new favorite Blush!!!!  The new Dior Rosy glow.  This blush is a beauty.  It also has an interesting quality.  It is like a mood ring or lipstick.  It changes color to adjust itself to your skin tone.  How cool is that??  Dior describes it as blush that intuitively adjusts to the moisture of each skin, and upon application develops a rosy radiance to match each skin tone for an all day ultra natural, customized and healthy glow effect.  In the pan the blush appears to be a cool toned pink with hints of lavender, but looks different on my skin.  It is GORGEOUS!  You have to go check this out!!!  I hear it is part of the permanent line which is great news!  This is one that I instantly fell for and has to be my favorite blush in a while. Here are a few swatches.  Better swatches to come later!  These were taken in bad lighting, but I was excited to get them on here.  Don't mind kitty in the background!

Dior garden pastels from the Garden Party collection

For Christmas I received a gift card to Nordstroms.  As soon as I got home I saw that the new dior palettes from the Garden Party collection were available on their site.  I immediately ordered both!  Here is my review for the garden pastels.  It is a gorgeous palette with what looks to be a luminous green, a pretty blue, a sheer pink, and a couple lighter colors..  Once applied it is less vibrant, but still pretty. The colors are all shimmery, but I didn't notice much fallout. They are frosty, so you will need to add other colors  than this palette, to it.  I struggle with whether or not I should return it.  I feel I have similar colors in my collection.  They are not unique at all.  I do like the way these Dior palettes are designed with the middle topcoat color.  You layer that color on top and it gives a really pretty effect!  The quality is nice.  It is a little harder that the usual Dior palettes, but that must be from the beautiful design.  Did I mention it is beautiful???  Overall, very pretty.  If you have a large collection chances are you have similar colors already.  I am a sucker for gorgeous designs, so I bought it.  Please note these pics were taken after a long day at work.

Dior electric blue!

I recently purchased 2 of the new polishes from Diors Anselm collection.  I already have silver lake, way too many blacks, and the purple did not seem different enough to justify.  So, I bought pink graffiti, and electric blue.  The title of electric blue says it all.  This has to be 1 of my favs.  I do not have another color like it.  The formula is superb and the color is gorgeous.  VIBRANT!

Quickie post

I swatched YSL's new green.  I initially thought it was very similar to Juleps leah, but I was so wrong.  It is actually closer to Dior's waterlily!  Here are some bad pics.  The YSL is darker than Dior and more grass green like.  It also has very fine green shimmer when you look closely. The YSL is such a cool color, but I must resist.  PLEASE excuse my poorly taken care of nails.  This was a quick swatch.  Waterlily on pointer finger, YSL middle, leah on ring finger.  These do look a bit different IRL , but close.
